I have a bachelor's degree in history and a master's in teaching in elementary education. I have taught 1st and 2nd grade and have also tutored throughout the year and during the summer. Both students I tutored were 1st graders and I tutored them in mainly reading and math. One student was struggling academically and I really had to work with her on sight words, comprehension, etc. The other student was working above grade level and I had to fine ways to challenge him as well as keep reviewing old information.
