Experience Summary
I am an enthusiastic and driven college graduate of two time consuming majors, BS in Chemistry and a BFA in Dance. Along with two majors, I also participated in many extracurricular activities such as working, teaching children, dancing in multiple performances, baby sitting, etc. Due to my different majors, I have broadened my experience and am able to teach/tutor in both the sciences and the arts as well as math. I have over seven years experience with children whether its baby sitting, teaching or being a junior camp counselor. I desire to gain more experience in tutoring as well as working with children again, hitting two birds with one stone.
Teaching Style
Teaching and working with children has been a passion for me since middle school when I was still a child myself. My advantage of working with children this young is that I understand them better then and now as an adult so I can find an effective teaching style that will help them grow. I've also taught a variety of students from deaf and hard of hearing to ESL students and am able to easily adapt to their needs and hardships. I love children and nothing is as rewarding as watching them grow, learn and gain confidence for their lives in the future.
