I graduated high school in 2000 with a local diploma and then went on to college at Utica School of Commerce. I graduated in 2002 with an Associated Degree as an Administrative Specialist. I have worked at a few different jobs and just went back to college again at Utica School of Commerce and got my certificate degree as a Medical Office Assistant.
When helping others, I do it two ways. I tell them how to do it and guide them through it. Other times, I show them how to do it. However, I do not do it for them. I would love to have the chance to help children succeed in their education! It would be an honor!

I enjoy tutoring Math because I feel comfortable in giving students an alternate way of understanding the subject outside of their textbook and teacher. I like to introduce to the student alternate ways of “thinking”. Introducing applications of where math is needed or helpful I believe always helps the student learn. In my opinion this is true for all Physics or Electrical Engineering students. I like to take the time with students one-on-one because that was something I didn’t easily have access to as a college student recognized after how much help it could have brought.
I worked a year in the Tutoring Department located at Mohawk Valley Community College. This was an open lab which meant 3-4 students would need help at any one particular time period.
