Have played flute for 30 years. Studied under Aubrie Dionne privately. Performed in Ms. Dionne's flute choir's at the Bell Center for the Arts and the Manchester Community Music School. Accepted to the Julius Baker masterclass week long conference in 2001. Began playing with the Strafford Wind Symphony in March of 2003. Currently, I am the principle flutist and section leader positions, which have been held for 4 years. I have taught privately upon request over the last 4 years. Coming from a family of teachers, the importance of education has always been stressed to me. I also hold a Bachelors of Science in Family Studies with a concentration on early childhood education and graduated Summa Cum Laude. I have been teaching children of all ages for over 25 years. My primary expertise has been in music education. I have been employed in public, private and parochial schools throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
