I worked as a tutor for the Computer Science department at New Mexico State University. I helped students learn and understand the concepts of the first computer class (CS101) and enjoyed it quite a bit! I have a degree in Journalism and Spanish. A Little Bit About Me...

Prior to changing my undergraduate major to Geography, I was an elementary education major. I have always enjoyed working with students; however, at the time I wanted to try something different and is how I ended up working as a Park Ranger for the National Park Service (NPS). My experiences with NPS have allowed me to teach in an informal setting, by educating the public about their national parks. I also have the opportunity to present curriculum based education programs in grades K-5 about different aspects in NPS. My experiences have also pushed me to start a Masters of Science degree in Biology to further my knowledge. While I was an undergraduate, I was also a teaching assistant for physical geography labs.
