A Little Bit About Me...

I love children and I am a patient and caring teacher. My mother is an educational diagnostician and an expert on learning disabilities and different learning styles. As a result I believe I have special insight into the way children learn and I can adapt my teaching style to fit the individual needs of each child I tutor.
In high school I took AP calculus classes, earning college credit and fulfilling the math requirement for my undergraduate degree. I tutored my peers in math while earning my BBA in finance, and taking elective classes in accounting and economics. Every child is different, and I have found that finding out how a child learns is just as important, if not more important, than the subject material itself. I am a big believer in setting goals and having a concrete plan as to how we are going to reach those goals.
