A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored various students ranging from elementary, junior high to college undergraduates in Italian (my mother tongue) and French. I am very passionate about the student's interest in learning another language (I speak 4 languages) and honor their interest by offering a really caring approach: learning a foreign language widens perspectives and knowledge. My love of mathematics began while I was in elementary school--I looked forward to those classes and took as many as I could from my high school, Wyoming Area. I had, at one point in middle school, helped to tutor some students in one of my classes. While in college at Susquehanna University, I had the priveledge of tutoring pre-calculus to local Selinsgrove High School students. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to share my passion for math with others. I believe anyone can comprehend math if given the right tools--learning math is like building a pyramid, you need the base to get to the top, and that is what I try to do, help these students grasp a solid base understanding of the topic. A Little Bit About Me...

I tutored privately in French for many years and took my junior year of college in France. I then took my Masters Degree in Paris, France. I lived & worked in France for 5 years. I worked for Mack Trucks (then owned by Renault in France)for the French management and then Swedish management when Mack was bought by Volvo. There I taught corporate classes in French (3 levels). I also designed & managed a program called "Le Grand Echange", an exchange program for children of employees of both Mack and Renault. I also taught beginning French in the evenings at Muhlenberg College. Since, I have traveled abroad and have learned 2 new languages. I have tutored many private students in French, also Spanish, Italian and Swedish.
