I am very straightforward in my style. I really enjoy doing things my way and seeing how the student responds. If the response is not positive then I modify and try again until we get it right. I am very much an auditory person myself so I am very verbal and love to talk things through.
I came to teaching as a second career when I realized I was not happy in local politics. I earned a degree in Secondary Education with English certification grades 5-12. I have taught in rural as well as urban schools and schools in between. I have a strong command of grammar and reading comprehension skills. I have lead students in debate teams as well.

A Little Bit About Me...

While I had to put my studies on hold for close to a decade because of family concerns, it was during that time that I was able to establish a tutoring business based out of Seattle, WA. I gained valuable experience working with children having many unique learning styles. After returning to school, I earned my degree in Political Science. During my course of study, I learned exceptional grammatical and writing skills due to the numerous papers regard spanning many topics.
