A Little Bit About Me...

For me, teaching isn't about pounding new material into their head, it's about helping them understand the material they're given and actually having fun learning. That's why my teaching style is all about fun and retention.
I have many volunteer hours stacked up working with groups of children, but I would love to teach on a more personal basis to build my one-on-one skills. I have been around teaching my entire life. My mother is a fourth grade teacher and I have loved learning how she likes to teach and how her teammates like to teach as well. I started working in a church nursery when I was 11 and continued on until I left for college when I was 18. I have worked with age levels newborn-8th grade.
