I participated in a mobile internet App project for a startup technical company. The major goal for the project is to do financial forecasting for the company. My comments on tutoring Math : Math is a matter of understanding a few simple rules and applying them in different situations, which is an important skill no matter which grade you're in! I can help you understand concepts and practice math skills to improve your grasp of math and raise your grades!

For tutoring, I prefer face-to-face lessons, because it makes it easier for me to gauge how well the student is understanding the material. I try to explain concepts in a variety of ways to find out how the student learns best, whether through repetition, example, metaphor, application... whatever works! I have tutored kids with all kinds of needs and a few with pretty short attention spans :) For piano lessons, I would use the Alfred library of teaching materials, as that is how I was taught and it works wonders on new learners! In addition to reading music, I would focus on performance techniques and theory as well.
