I currently serve as Career Outreach Coordinator for HACC-Lebanon Campus. I have tutored many students, particularly in areas such as writing essays. My teaching style with students of all ages is to facilitate their learning as opposed to simply feeding them what I feel is the best response. Learning is a lifelong process!

My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. I use a combination of both online games and Websites and hands-on manipulatives. First, I like for the student to take multiple intelligence tests and then I know how best to help the student. The information I gain from the analysis is extremely informative. It tells me where the students' strengths lie such as some students are musically inclined, some are visual learners, auditory learners, some are mathematicians and various other styles. Then, the style that they learn through the best is how I would teach the student; this is based on Gardner's Multiple Intelligence.
