My comments on tutoring English ESOL : Two years experience as Senior ESOL instructor with Inlingua (Vienna, Austria). As a substitute instructor for 22 other staff, I was frequently told that I was the first instructor whose every word was understood. As stated elsewhere, I have offered ESOL in many other areas including Tarpon Springs Campus of St. Petersburg College, with Korean Air Force Officers and as a volunteer with H.E.A.R.T. and R.S.V.P.

My teaching style is student centered. I believe that in order for the student to grasp the material the lesson needs to be meaning for them. The authoritative teacher is not me. I like to be flexible making accommodations for the student so that they will have an open room to learn, because every student doesn’t learn the same way. I have tutored in Reading for elementary students. I have also taught Psychology for over four years at two community colleges. I taught many students with diverse backgrounds.
