I have many ways of teaching. I like to make the experience rewarding, fun and educational. As I continue to work with others I find their strengths and weaknesses and do the best I can to make the experience fun and as stress free as possible. I know that it can be tough learning new subjects, however, if you put your mind to it, there is always a way. I use games, activities and also outside projects to learn as much as possible. My BA degree was in Speech & Theatre. Who would have known that a shy kid like me would have excelled in public speaking, english, and theatre. I love the English language, even though I've had classes in French and Spanish. I started school when I was 4 years old (too early), and all my grade school years was challanged with education. Now that I am an adult, I feel that I have the experience to help children understand and find it easier to learn English and grammer, sentence writing, composition writing, essays, etc. Laid back, but encouraging.If a child is struggling, I don't think you should add fear and criticism to the situation. Having had Catholic nuns in all my grammer school days, pretty much put the "fear of God" into me, until I went on to public high school and college. then I was able to relax and embrace english and literature.
