I love to motivate and present information, that is unique. For example, what note or bill is the lowest denomination ever printed and has the portrait of George Washington on it? Education is extremely important to me. As an educator, I think it is important to not only share one's knowledge, but to be able to adapt one's teaching style for each student. Through my experience, I know it is important to have patience and be open-minded with my students. I enjoy tutoring and being a positive role model to all my students.
I have earned a bachelors degree in Psychology, passed the CBEST, and have about four years of work experience as a tutor. I tutored students, ranging from grades K-12, in various subjects, but mainly in Mathematics and Language Arts/Reading. Also, in a previous position, I managed after-school tutoring programs for both elementary and junior high schools at the school site, in-home, and public location/library.
