My comments on tutoring ADD/ADHD : I have been a Special Educator for 40 years. I currently work with students in a Career Center. Many of these students have ADD/ADHD. I assist them with study skills and organizational skills. I have worked with all age groups over my career.

My teaching style is to get to know the student and their learning style first. Then make a plan with the content. Continue to evaluate for changes through student feedback.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Special Education from Wayne State University. I also have a Masters of Arts in Education also from Wayne State University. I have been teaching Special Education to all ages for over 30 years. For the last 10 years I am a Special Populations Coordinator at a Career Center. I have a love for learning and teaching!

I have been teaching special education for six years. I taught special education to kindergarten through third grade in a Montessori school for four years. I have experience in teaching students with disabilities in reading, writing, and math. Critical thinking skills and untraditional ways are what I focus on. However the way someone learns, I will try to set the individual up to show how they learn and work with them. I found each day of working with my students both challenging and rewarding.
