I have been playing chess since I was 10 years old. I went to state as a sophomore in High School. I did not do so well my first year at state. My first year at state I only had one win. The next year I had 4 wins and 3 losses. I finished in the top half at state during my junior year.I have won against several opponents who are hard to beat.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am presently teaching at the College level in the fields of Humanities and Philosophy. I am also tutoring at the tutoring center in Mathematics and the classes I am teaching. I have high expectation for my students and try to push them in order to get the best out of them. I have also being tutoring French (my native language) to a high school student for 2007- 2009. The student was a beginner with very little knowledge of the language. I was able to help the student sustain at the class level (at the Lab school of University of Chicago) a fast intense pace. Education has been a strong theme in my life and I know every kid deserves to have the same opportunity that I have had in my life. Even though I don't have any professional teach training, I compelled to help those that I can, using what I have learned. Everyone has a different learning style, so I believe in being patient and finding a unique way to teach each child according to his style. I am very patient and understanding person, who is willing to do what it takes to make a difference it at least one child’s life.
