I have overall 10 years of teaching experience. I came to United States to do my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. As a graduate student, I worked as a TA for the Department of Chemistry. I was trained on an intense 4 week program focused on undergraduate teaching methods offered by the Teaching College of U of Nebraska. By asking the right questions, one can help the student define his problem, form a plan for the solution, carry out the plan, and examine the result. I also try to work as many difficult problems from the student's text as time permits, in order to show that all problems have a solution, and the student can build confidence in attacking any problem.
