I teach grades Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade. I have been teaching since 2003. My passion are the early years but principals that I work for have told me that I am such a strong teacher that I should teach the upper primary grades. I prefer to lay an excellent foundation to get students grounded in the basic skills. Students that are taught by me excel and soar in the educational path. I’ve had many years of practice in the tutoring field dealing with the fact that my brother has a learning disability. He likes to have fun and thinks that leaning is boring, so I try to make learning as fun as possible. Then I have my student on student tutoring when the students tutor each other. I think its better that way because most students don't really pay attention to their teachers but they take it better when it comes from another student. Sometimes its better because something you understand they may not understand and when you explain it to them then may be they will understand it a little better. Reading and writing are, and have always been, enjoyable for me. However, I know that a lot of people do not feel the same way.
