Experience Summary
I have helped a number of adults & children improve in math, reading, writing and study skills. Generally a client should meet for three hours a week for best results. Tutoring in most subject areas at all grade levels from elementary through college is available. I can work with the student for the entire semester or school year, or I can help the student through a challenging topic.
Teaching Style
Today’s fast paced school curriculum overwhelms an alarming number of students, essentially hindering their progress as a whole by failing to make sure one concept is properly learned before the next is taught. But I make sure that they are comfortable with each and every problem before encouraging them to move on to the next. This way they retain essential information that will adequately prepare them for review and lessons to come. They will be grateful to see an improvement in their grades and you will be grateful to witness their positive outlook towards reading, mathematics, writing and study skills.
My Hobbies
Gardening, baking, traveling, cycling and hiking.
