Dance is a Passion

I really think that teaching by showing is a good method. Whenever I teach dance I always demonstrate myself so the child can see what it is supposed to look like. If we are learning certain positions such as ballet adjusting the child is appropriate.
I started my dance career when I was 2 and I trained at Top Hat Dance Centre in Lewisville and I trained there until my junior year in High School. While I was there I trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and pointe. When I was 6 I was invited to the competition team and I continued to be a part of that until I joined drill team in 2008. Have been dancing most of my life, and it is my passion. I love to work with young kids and want to make a career out of teaching. Started dancing at the age of 8 years old and have never stopped. I provide learners with multiple approaches to finding resources, making statements or arguments, and creating a cohesive line of thinking.
