I have spent my entire professional life teaching children. Your child and I will work hard, but we will also have an enjoyable time. I have 24 years of teaching in the elementary grades. I taught in a one-room for seven years. I taught fifth grade for 11 years, and second grade for six years. I have recently returned to school to pursue my teaching license in secondary education in English. I have a passion for reading and writing and can't wait to pass on my excitement to future students. My first degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. I love helping kids learn and recently worked with Autistic children over the summer. I have a great deal of patience and love seeing kids reach their maximum potential.

I am a very hands on teacher. I like to make learning fun and not boring. I know that all children have the ability to learn have a special education minor to help me teach ALL students. I like to use different approaches for each student as they all learn in different ways. I also firmly believe that each student needs to be met where they are at and taught from that point.
