As an active member of my community, in the form of pageantry, volunteering, and leadership, I have always enjoyed instructing others. Currently, I love my job at Midwest Generation as an Instructional Designer of Training. I get to train Engineers and Office Managers on subjects I knew little about, and have grown in responsibility and development. I love kids, since my summer camp instruction job I held all throughout High School as well as an active instructor at my church. I just graduated from Illinois State University about a year ago, and am recently educated and knowledgeable in all subjects, especially English, Social Studies, and Math. I would consider my teaching style as hands on. I love to work with children and know that I am giving the confidence to learn. I believe that every child has the ability to learn if they are given a safe learning space to explore their potential. I believe that being an educator is the greatest gift that I could give to anyone in need. As a college graduate, I have earned a bachelor's degree in Economics, with a minor in Statistics. I have 2 years in a professional financial position. Along side of my finance career I assisted a friend of mine in the academia field. I assisted in creating lesson plans, grading papers, writing tests, and team building activities. Throughout my academic career I have always succeeded in math. Because all students learn differently, it is important for me as a teacher to get to know each student to find out what fits their needs the best. I like to offer a variety of activities that appeal to the hands-on learns, as well as kids that need visual cues. I am a patient, encouraging and energetic teacher. It's my joy to find the instruction that really clicks with each student, and celebrate with them over their successes. I have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. I am a music professor-teaching not only voice, but also piano, saxophone and guitar. I achieved my degree(Masters)in Europe-Lithuania and taught their at the Vilnius Academy of Music for 10 years. I emigrated to the United States 15 years ago, and worked as a soloist(baritone) touring the U.S. I established my own music studio in Chicago where I teach voice, piano, saxophone. I work parttime as aDirector of Music in a local church-teaching the church choir and being the organist. I love teaching, tutoring students in music that is my life!
