Experience Summary
As an active member of my community, in the form of pageantry, volunteering, and leadership, I have always enjoyed instructing others. Currently, I love my job at Midwest Generation as an Instructional Designer of Training. I get to train Engineers and Office Managers on subjects I knew little about, and have grown in responsibility and development. I love kids, since my summer camp instruction job I held all throughout High School as well as an active instructor at my church. I just graduated from Illinois State University about a year ago, and am recently educated and knowledgeable in all subjects, especially English, Social Studies, and Math. I also have five years of French studies.
Teaching Style
Every student is different, therefore every student has different needs. Every student also can learn differently, whether it be by incorporating more or less visual learning strategies, auditory learning strategies, or using more of the "hands on" approach. Learning can be and should be fun! I love teaching a student to success and when they enjoy what they are doing they are much more likely to succeed!
