I grew up in Germany where I graduated from a German high school. I tutored in English through out most of my high school years. During my college career I tutored in German. I was raised bilingual in both English and German.

A Little Bit About Me...

Though I am not teaching now I volunteer for Youth for Christ, teaching students in the Bible, personal ethics and making right life choices. A life goal has been to educate and enhance the lives of teenagers. I want students to move ahead, and use encouragement as a means to do this. I always try to establish a personal relationship with the student, as people do not care about what you know until they know that you care.
I have degrees in English and English Education, which gives me a strong backround in which to tutor. I tutored undergrads at Ohio State in Freshman English and a high school student in Reading at Ohio University. I taught English as a Second Language as volunteer for two years through my Church. As a professional in the private sector, I wrote for and edited the company newsletter.
