My comments on tutoring Civil Engineering : I am a civil engineer with many years experience in the field. I can help with college classwork and practical issues.

As an engineer and I have taught planners and engineers how to use software to do calculations. I have taught GRE preparation for Kaplan (analytical and verbal reasoning) both to small classes of 3 to 7 students and individual tutoring. My comments on tutoring Civil Engineering : I spent four years at the University of Florida studying Nuclear Engineering - a primary component of which is power generation, which has applications and requires training in the Civil Engineering sector. As such, I have received training in Civil Engineering, and following my graduation spent four months as an intern for a Civil Engineering company. Many of the subjects applicable to Civil Engineering are statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, and so on. These are core courses for Nuclear Engineering students to complete, and I have done so.
