Effective communication with students has two dimensions that can be addressed: stimulating students' interest in and engagement with the course material by making it relevant to their lives that evoke their interest and appropriately challenge them. As an instructor I am providing a student with the knowledge, concepts and skills which enhance their academic goals. I believe in life long learning and I encourage children to apply themselves to do their very best.I also encourage children to determine what their best learning style is and to apply their learning style to fit their specific needs. For example some children require a more sequential repetitive approach to learning. Other children require a system in which they practice what they know through an oral approach or a hands on approach to learning.
