I have spent many years training entry level accountants in many different industries and have a particular concentration in health care. I have 33 years of financial accounting experience in a variety of settings and have held positions from a staff accountant to a corporate treasurer involved in taking the first penny stock public since the days of Mr. Brennen and the First Jersey Scandal. I was born in Jamaica; however I am a citizen of the United States of America. I am from a very large family where education and hard work were our mantra. My father attended the Oxford University in England and later became a Civil Engineer where he worked in Israel and in Jamaica. He was also a member of parliament in Jamaica. In his later years, my father was the owner of a real estate development company and commercial farming. My mother attended the University of the West Indies and Shortwood Teachers’ College and has recently retired from her position as the principal for a primary and junior high school in Jamaica and she is also a Justice of the Peace which is equivalent to a Mayor.
