I stongly beleive that all children are able to learn but no all childrens learn the same way. I have experienced the different types of surronding like private and public schools and i learned that each student have a different approach to learning. Teachers have a very important part in their future, they need to show each student is special in their own way, I show them that I beleive that they are capable to do everything they want to accomplish, if they beleive in themself and work on their goal. Teaching is my life and I like to know that I am helping with their future. I am try to be a positive influence in all my students by showing how to use their potential to fullest. For the past 11 years I have been working with students in different challenging and responsible positions in education (such as: at Belen Jesuit Preparatory Schoolas as a Substitute Teacher, at After School Prog

Being a tutor has been my most positive experience. It’s great to get to know the students that I work with. I love talking and seeing them waving and smiling at me!I took this job because of my experience in proofreading papers for my friends. The focus here, however, is to improve writers, not just the papers they bring in. I feel that makes this job all at once more meaningful, challenging, and rewarding.”I am not a very talented person; I can’t sing, dance, play any instruments, or excel in any athletics. The one thing I can really do is write, so it feels good to use this ability to help those students whose talents lie elsewhere.I have learned about my own ability to interact in a tutor position and based on what works and what doesn’t, I have altered my approach. Many students do not plan before writing; they prefer to just start to write. For others it is important to go slowly a

Teaching is fun and satisfying. When I work with students I challenge them as much as I can, because I have found that students not only step up to the challenge, but exceed my expectations. I like to reward the students I work with, give constant encouragement, and let the students know how much I appreciate their attention and willingness to learn and change.
When I tutored Algebra and Spanish I would go through multiple examples with the students, and then encourage them to look back at their notes or in the book when doing problems on their own. I found that once they felt like they figured out the questions on their own they had much more confidence.
When I worked with students who wrote for me at the newspaper, I would sit down with them and re-edit their articles and say why I was making changes out loud and encourage the students to ask me any questions about the changes I made
