My teaching style is patient and creative. I seem to find unique ways and examples that the learner can understand to help describe how to solve problems. I’m not afraid to admit if I’m not confident of an answer to a question and will do all I can to figure out the solution that makes the best sense to the student. I’m flexible with regards to teaching for different learning styles because not everyone learns the same way. My tutoring can extend from grade school kids to college students.
I know the value of a tutor in a young person’s life. I have a BS degree in Animal Science, minor in Biology. I have 20 years laboratory service with the USDA- APHIS- National Veterinary Services Lab, during this time I became a certified Histotechnician, received a HACCP certified and attended ISU to continue my education in Microbiology.
