As University of Minnesota Duluth graduate, I excelled in studies of math, physics, logic, critical thinking, and accounting. I earned two degrees: Bachelor of Accounting and Associate of Arts. I received a high excellence grade in math and physics courses and was preselected by math instructors to tutor any math course through Calculus I and to grade Calculus I and Math for Elementary School Teachers. When tutoring I usually ask prompting questions to assist the person in working through a problem. By building off of the skills the student already has it helps them better understand the process. If a student is learning new material or does not understand the way something was explained I will try to come up with an alternative method. I will go through an example with them step by step ensuring that they understand what happens along the way.
