I like to use a lot of visual supports, use scenarios or puppet shows (for young children) to have interaction in the language. As a native speaker I easily improvise when the student(s) show a specific interest. The culture is also very important to have a better grasp of the language. I always try to show students cultural aspects or differences while teaching. I was a substitute teacher for Elkton High School, during the year 2006 and 2007. I taught French I - IV and other courses as required. I taught Italian and French at two community colleges from 2004 to 2006. I have also tutored French and other subjects since 1998 in France and the United States.

Graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism has given me the easygoing background to educate others in writing and reading. As a graduate of Wellesley College, I continaully strived to do achieve a high level of excellence. One of my biggest regrets in life is that I didn't get a teaching certification while I was in college. It is a profession which I would truly love. As the mother of two children, one of schoolage, I realize now that it would have been a great life choice for me. I have helped many people with their skills along the way, and I would love to do it in a tutoring format now. Because I have a passion for learning, I love to share my own knowledge with others.
