A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy drawing parallels between the coursework I am teaching and real life. My own high school biology teacher used this approach, and with it he was able to maintain the students' interest and motivation. I believe that students are more eager to learn when they realize that their coursework has real-world applicability.
As a high school student, I spent time tutoring other students in science and math. I went on to study biology at Cornell University, where I earned my B.S. Upon graduation I decided to attend medical school, but I recently realized my true desire is to teach. I currently possess all the required knowledge to teach biology, and I will soon be pursuing my Master's and certification in education.
