I graduated May 2013 from Fredonia with a Bachelors degree in Childhood Education. My concentration is in English. I spent a year of professional development in the Hamburg school district where I had student teaching placements in first, second, and fifth grade. When working towards my Bachelor's I was able to achieve a dual BS in Accounting and Business Management. After working a few years, I decided to go into teaching. While doing this, I was able to assimilate my real life working experience, into the classroom. I have since obtained a second certification in Special Education. My teaching style is to have a set of problems made up for the students to observe as examples to help understand certain chapters. I will assign additional problems if needed and focus on the subject matter that is the hardest for the individual to understand.
I have taken statistics and gotten an A in the course and still have all course materials to give a general overview of statistics and how to use SPSS. This allows the students to get a brief introduction to the day’s material before they work in groups on questions about the material.
