My comments on tutoring Physics : Took both college-level, calculus-based, general physics courses. Topics: Newton's laws, angular motion, kinematics, inertia, momentum, electrical, magnetic, and basic concepts involving circuit boards.

All the students I tutored were either in high school or college. My topic I predominately tutor and that I most enjoy tutoring is mathematics. Professional Exam Prep and Subject Tutoring

During my time as Head Tutor at UNCA, regardless of department, I tutored over 200 students in mathematics and physics. Of those students, at least 80% saw an increase of at least one letter grade and at least 20% saw an increase by two letter grades. A Little Bit About Me...

I have informally tutored people of various age ranges in the subjects, physics and math , for a period that ranges over about three years . I have taught younger relatives as well as helped people informally on online tutoring message boards with math and physics problems. I have also been paid to assist students in how to operate the basic commands of computational mathematical software for three years as well.
I would be glad to work with students of all ages, but I prefer to work with a student individually rather than work with students in a group. From both my experience of being an informal tutor and being tutored, I find that students general prefer this style of tutoring because the tutor can both focus and better access their student's strengths and weaknesses in the particular academic subject they are having difficulty with.
