Writing is one of my top subjects! My award-winning writing career spans 38 years. Accolades include a Katie Award and three “Council for Advancement and Support of Education” awards. I have been published in national newspapers and magazines, as well as on-line. My syndicated column, “Lone Star Legends,” has appeared in 48 newspapers throughout Texas. Everyone needs help now and again!

I find most children at young ages are visual learners, but I am easily adjustable to many teaching styles to fit the students needs.
I have worked with children ages 5 and up for a few years now. I have 3 siblings all 8 years or more younger than me, and have had lots of experience with children in elementary school.
