My name is Rachel Bloom(Rovner). In 2012-2013, I completed some college majoring in Early Childhood Education. In 2009-2012, I completed 762 hours of community service volunteering with children with disabilities, helping with early development learning. Success with confidence is my goal.

I have raised a mentally disabled child and assisted in her education. I have home-schooled three children for brief periods to assess their abilities when the schools graded them lower than their abilities. I discovered one is a genius (MENSA material) with a writing problem, another has a photographic mind, the third could speed read naturally. I spent time building their confidence that they had lost in the classroom. They were caught up to their current grade at the time and advanced 2 of them ahead a year in one year.
Will depend on what works well with the child. I relate to children and parents quite well. If I'm not a good fit and find I'm not helping, I will inform you.

As a tutor of student athletes at Indiana University, I tutored students from all walks of life. I began by tutoring Biology and Spanish but the need for tutors in English, Writing, Chemistry and Statistics soon arose and I stepped up to fill those positions.
