Communication and patience is key. Im not an easily irritated person. I understand the struggles other teens may be going through as so have I before. I don't have a deggree in any of my listings. But i can say I have EXPERIENCE. I am a high school student. How I stand out from others is I know what teachers are looking for NOW. Things have obviously changed since others got their degrees. Laid back, but encouraging.If a child is struggling, I don't think you should add fear and criticism to the situation. Having had Catholic nuns in all my grammer school days, pretty much put the "fear of God" into me, until I went on to public high school and college. then I was able to relax and embrace english and literature. My BA degree was in Speech & Theatre. Who would have known that a shy kid like me would have excelled in public speaking, english, and theatre.
