My comments on tutoring Resume Writing : With over three years in the career and education planning business, I am well-equipped to tutor students in current resume writing standards. I can work to help students craft a single resume or, if needed, a collection of resumes based on the widespread distribution of their skills.
I have a bachelor's degree from Coe College in Art History and Writing, which included both creative and technical writing courses for completion. As of 2013, I have a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Bowling Green State University.
In addition to my academic achievements, I have worked at Bowling Green State University as an instructor of composition and creative writing. I taught both the Introduction to Academic Writing and the more advanced Academic Writing courses, as well as an undergraduate creative writing workshop. During this time, I was also the acting Managing Editor of the literary magazine, Mid-American Review. As Managing Editor, I was responsible for maintaining the mailing and subscription databases, communicating with authors and poets, setting work with Adobe InDesign, selecting works for publication, editing the magazine, and much more.
