My experience of teaching is not in schools but I have trained many people in the art of rearing shrimp. I am very patient and encourage questions of any kind. I believe that a student needs to feel they can ask any question in order to fully understand. Any student can learn. There are many different personalities and many different ways of learning. When learning is a joy rather than a chore, a student has an even better chance to really understand the subject. My goal is to find the best method for teaching each individual student. My teaching style is based on building an empowering relationship between teacher and student. The aim in my teaching is to make the student into an out-going self-learner and to teach the student positive ways of challenging himself. If I were to label myself, I would call myself a patient, understanding teacher. I look for tools and ways to reach my student, often employing numerous aids for a single subject. I am currently seeking tutoring work as I complete the last year of my online "masters in elementary education" program. I have a bachelors in Psychology, and twenty years of working experience, 5 in supervisory positions. I can teach elementary and high school level work.
