I took several years off to start my family, and returned for fourteen more years as an inner city ESL/kindergarten teacher. I worked with children from many diverse backgrounds and I am knowledgeable in the multicultural field. My whole life I have had a love of education. I look forward to sharing this love with students and teaching them that learning need not be something to be feared. I am a very adaptable teacher who can easily modify my teaching to work for a variety of learners. My style uses a constructivist approach in which all students are viewed as unique individuals and are expected to take an active role in their education. During my undergraduate years at Santa Fe Community Colleges, I tutored math and English. I am a patient and considerate person who love to discover and explore new opportunities. My goal is to help instruct and educate children to meet their potential and academic expectations.
As a University of Phoenix graduate, I am currently seeking an MBA in Health Care Management.
