A Little Bit About Me...

I am an Indiana State licensed Music Teacher. My style of teaching music to students meets the Indiana State Music Standards, and Gardner's 9 Intelligences including the incorporation of various learning styles to fit the needs of each individual student. Your student will become knowledgeable in music theory, including music staff, time and key signatures, rhythmic and melodic studies, dynamics, and music symbols under my tutelage. I teach proper singing and instrumental playing techniques,and proper breath support and posture. I hope to inspire each student to learn and to enjoy music as a productive pastime into adulthood.
I have a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, and a Master of Arts Degree in Music Education from Ball State University. I have an Indiana Professional Teacher's License in all music levels.I have ... read more
