Speaking is one of my top subjects! I consider myself a great public speaker. I recently passed Ball State Universtity's communications and public speaking course with an A and could help anyone do the same!

I am in my third year at Ball State University. I recently changed my major from Biology to Accounting; therefore, I have lots of knowledge in many different areas - some that aren't listed on my profile. I am experienced in categories ranging from Biology to Accounting to baking. I won several Grand Champion awards in Indiana's Madison County 4-H program for Baking and Woodworking while I have A's in Chemistry, Accounting, Biology, Spanish, Calculus, and many many other subjects from Ball State University. I like to teach as if I am one friend talking to another. I find that this is the most relaxed way to encourage learning. Speaking is one of my top subjects! I am very experienced in public speaking. I have taken college level classes on public speaking. I have also held many leadership positions which require me to speak to many people in public settings.

I am currently a senior at Indiana Univeristy Kokomo. I will graduate in spring 2013 with a B.A. in Psychology and minors in Leadership Studies as well as International Studies/Relations. My college coursework has a focus on psychology but my degree requires me to have a very liberal education, as such, I have taken classes in english, history, sciences, economics, government, and many others. I am a student leader and have been for the past two years. I am currently Student Body President of IU Kokomo and represent over 3,000 students. Past leadership expereices include being psychology club treadurer and president, orientation leader, and student senator. I have supplemented my college education by working on a behavioral/mental health unit. I have also done research with one of IU Kokomo's psychology professors, and am currently a teaching assistant for another psychology professor.

In previous work evaluations my supervisor has described my teaching style as "Experiential". I have a passion to teach with example and hands on practial skills. I created a game in which to teach parents and children how to get rid of their "hang ups". My motto is "Reaching Higher" and I thoroughly enjoy helping a child or adolescent reach higher to understand their full potential. It is an "ah ha" moment for both myself and an individual that I might be teaching, when they "arrive" at that point, to reveal their own learning style. A Little Bit About Me...

During college, I changed my major several times, taking numerous classes for each one to determine what I wanted to do with my life. I experimented with Political Science for two years, in which I took classes in criminology, speech, and history. My next year of college was spent in English and Writing, where I focused on the obvious, as well as classes in psychology. The last few years of my college experience, where I ended up graduating with a Bachelor’s in Finance, were based around all of the science and math classes that Ohio Dominican University had to offer.
