I have always been driven to learn and pursue and education, this led me to completing my bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in history from UC- San Diego. I enjoyed tutoring math, science and english while in high school and continued in college. After graduating I volunteered in Chile teaching English which greatly improved my teaching skills and improved my Spanish Language abilities. I currently work as a substitute teacher which allows me to continue to gain teaching experience while I work towards a full credential I am very patient and outgoing with students, I try to gain a good understanding of where there are at in order to help them understand what is needed and how to achieve their goals. In High School I discovered that not only was I skilled in math and science, but that I was effective in tutoring other students in these subjects.
