My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : I taught second and fourth grade math in the past and am certified to teach up to sixth grade mathematics.

I graduated from Francis Marion University in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In college I student taught in a fourth grade classroom teaching science, reading, and writing. Right after graduation I began teaching at an arts integrated elementary school. I taught second grade for three years, two of those years I taught in a single gender classroom. I taught all content areas with a high focus on reading, writing, and phonics.
I am a very open minded individual and I really try not to tailor my teaching style to a group, rather I try to find methods and strategies that work individually for each specific student. I have been tutoring in various math, elementary, and Spanish areas for 13 years. I have tutored students from elementary school age to adults.
