I have recently attained a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University. The reason I chose this degree was that it gave me an opportunity to learn all aspects of a human being. My first concentration was science. I have tutored most subjects in both in middle school and high school. My most recent experience was tutoring psychology and spanish at the college level. I do not hold a teaching certificate, but I do love to teach.

I very much enjoy teaching in a setting where the students feel comfortable enough to both learn and express themselves. I always find a higher success rate in the understanding and comprehension of the subject at hand under these circumstances. This applies to both my student teaching, tutoring as well as an instructor in the military. I believe that each person is different and has a unique way of learning and that there are several ways to cover one subject, ie visually, verbally and through activities, to ensure each student has an ability for understanding and comprehension.
