Most recently I was an educational liaison in an alternative classroom in the Pocono Mountain School District. I worked for a technology company providing online curriculum for the students. While in the classroom, I tutored the students in all subject areas where they had difficulty, but specifically concentrating on tutoring the math courses. A Little Bit About Me...

I loved teaching! I think I retired too early because I miss the every day challenges and excitement teaching gives! I have been trained in 4Mat and Gardners Multiple Intelligences. I firmly believe "every child can learn" as long as you teach to their learning style. My daughter is following in my foot steps and will start her first teaching job in September. I truly believe if we show a child we care they can learn anything!

A Little Bit About Me...

As a writer, I have a great passion for the English language. I have experience in both literature and writing through my Bachelor's degree. I am currently an MA candidate in a Creative Writing program. As an undergraduate, I minored in Studio Art. I have been a church organist for the last 8 years. I have played the organ for 17 years. I also play the clarinet and saxophone (12 years). I have a firm grasp of music theory.
I believe that students can educate teachers just as well as teachers can educate students. I try to remain on-the-level with students in order to make them comfortable. I am very animated; yet, at the same time, I know how to get my information across. I try to be a fun and creative person, and I strive to get that across to students.
