Ever since I can remember I have enjoyed helping others to learn. There is something indescribably fulfilling in imparting knowledge to others. During my time in college I earned a BS in Biology with a Biomedical focus and a minor in Chemistry. While there I worked as a tutor and laboratory teacher's assistant for General Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. Working for the Youth and Family Services department, I collaborated with counselors in an after-school mentoring program designed to promote self-sufficiency and leadership development for 100-plus underprivileged teens. My most recent position as an English Teaching Assistant in France enhanced my communication skills ten-fold.
