I try to bring information, facts and ideas into a unified whole, so that rather than being a matter of simple memorization, subjects can be internalized, understood and learned. My comments on tutoring Social Studies : My sociology, government and history proficiencies transfer easily to Social Studies.

Denver Summer Scholars - Lead computer tutor - Taught 3 classes a day with 15 students in each class. I used computer software to tutor students in math and language arts. My students were ESL at Risk students. Tree of Knowledge - I tutored 15 students during the 2011 to 2012 school year in Language Arts and Math. My students increase their pre tutoring scores by a minimum of 25%. My students included at risk and special ed students in first to fifth grade. This was one on one tutoring. Social Studies is one of my top subjects!

Taught classes in GED in workplace to help co-workers qualify for promations; also taght GED at Skinner M.S as part of field work for teachers classes in which I received an "A"; was an AVID (advancement via individual determination) in both middle school and Hinckley H. S. for four years.
