Whenever I can, I like to be very hands-on in my teaching my students. For example, once I was teaching my class about trees. I had them go outside and collect samples of bark which had fallen on the ground. Then we created a gigantic mural in my classroom and glued the pieces of bark to a tree we had drawn.

I have been at Fccj for a little over two years. I have studied and mastered a variety of subjects. I am starting JU next summer to earn my BSN. A good description of my teaching style sould be very descriptive, and easy to follow. I break down the math into a series of steps, and practice them until they are mastered. For the students that have already decided that they hate math, I try to excite them with topics that they can relate to, such as sports, or cooking.
