As an engineer and I have taught planners and engineers how to use software to do calculations. My comments on tutoring Algebra : I have tutored students, even while I was in high school, in Algebra 1.

This depends on the student. I can teach verbally for students who are auditory learners, visually for student who are visual learners, and kinesthetically for students who are kinesthetic learners. I know that every student can learn, it just depends on finding the specific learning style for that student.

My comments on tutoring Algebra : I have passed mathematics courses with a B or better through Calculus I. I have taken algebra-based physics I and II at the college level, plus calculus I at the college level. I scored a 155/170 on the GRE quantitative exam, which contains many problems specific to algebra skills.

I was recently accepted to the University of Florida College of Medicine, and will be completing a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology starting this fall. I am currently a post-baccalaureate student at the University of North Florida, taking Organic Chemistry and Genetics. I took the GRE exam last November, and scored above the 90th percentile in 2 of 3 categories.
